Please tell us about what made you decide to join CAC.

I joined CAC because the company's area of operations matched with what I had been studying. For example, I had been interested in IoT and cloud solutions since I was a student, and CAC had projects that related to these. I was also given the opportunity to speak with people working at CAC and I felt that it had a good workplace atmosphere. Those were the reasons I chose to join CAC. So for me, the "things I sought to accomplish" and "atmosphere" were what made me decide to join.

What are some things about your work that you find rewarding?

I've been working here for a year now, and I think the difficult times were over in about six months. At first, I was still functioning with a student mindset and that led to a lot of self-caused mistakes. I was also not that familiar with technical knowledge that related to our work, which made it difficult to communicate with other team members. But as time went by, I was able to build up my knowledge and strengthen my relationships with other team members, so those difficulties are behind me.

What do you like about CAC?

There are three things that I like about CAC. The first thing is that my team members are kind and project managers give us pertinent guidance. New employees typically have lower skill levels and do not have much experience, so by working with team members who are kind, you are able to grow gradually in a variety of areas. The second thing is CAC's training system. The company conducts a broad range of appropriate training programs every year, and the knowledge that we acquire in those programs can be applied immediately to our day-to-day work. The third is that our opinions get heard. If you want to take on a challenge, the company offers opportunities to achieve your visions.

What are your dreams or goals? (What type of person do you aspire to be?)

I would like to work on a project that leverages cloud technologies. I became interested in cloud technologies after I joined the company, and I want to learn more about the technologies and services in that area. Currently, I think the most respected official qualifications in the IT industry are related to either cloud or IoT technologies. For this reason, I plan to set up my ideal career plan in this area. CAC gives you the opportunity to utilize these technologies, so I think you will be able to improve your skills in a short amount of time.

Please give us a message for students who are currently job hunting!

I think it's important to have the mindset that even if a hundred doors are shut in your face, one will surely open. If you think that CAC might be that one door, make sure to communicate your strengths and weaknesses to the hiring team. I don't think you have to have a clear idea of your ideal career plan at this point. But it is important to communicate your strengths and weaknesses to leave an impression with the hiring team.
