Graduated from the Faculty of Japanese Studies, Department of Foreign Languages. Joined CAC in FY2016.
During the information sessions and interviews, I got the impression that I was being treated as an individual with a unique personality as opposed to a dispensable cog in a machine who was expected to perform a rote duty. I joined CAC because I felt that the company provided an environment where I could be my genuine self on the job without having to worry about conforming to others more than I needed to.
Expressions of gratitude that I get from our customers are very rewarding. I understand that I should be doing my work without expecting to be thanked by our customers. But when they are happy with what I have spent my time making, that tells me that it has had a positive affect on the operations of their entire organization as well as on individual users, and that it has made their day-to-day work easier. These things give me a sense of fulfillment, and the motivation to do even better.
●I am able to work in an environment where I can learn IT skills on the job.
●We can all speak to each other in an informal way without worrying about seniority or position.
●The company has a relaxed corporate culture and we can talk about anything.
●I have the opportunity to do international work.
I would like to become someone who is able to lead projects that span across multiple countries. The way people engage in operations can be quite different depending on their nationality or the country they are stationed in. So, in order to direct a global project, you will need not only project management skills, but also a good understanding of different cultures, indirect management abilities, and an understanding of different working styles. The difficulty level for positions like these will be high exactly for these reasons, but I would like to take on such positions since the sense of achievement will naturally be that much greater.
